"SwarShala", therefore, is like a virtual version of an Indian Music Academy, where you can learn about Indain music, Practice while SwarShala accompanies you with instruments and also Compose using various Indian instruments.
Its a must-have tool for students of Indian classical music, professional musicians, composers, and anyone interested in Indian music. It is divided in 3 different sections :

The Learn section features an immersive section that helps you understand the intricacies of Indian classical music by using interactivities and a huge collection of audio-visual samples.
Practice

The Practice section gives you immense flexibility of designing your entire practice section. After you set your preferences, let SwarShala take over and provide you all the accompaniment you need while doing your practice, as if virtual musicians were at your disposal! And if you are interested in composing, you can use the powerful features of Compose section to compose your own tracks using the large collection of Indian instruments featured in SwarShala .
SwarShala provides CD quality playback sound using studio-recorded sound samples referred to as patches. If you have purchased a CD, the required patches will be included and installed along with the package.
