Can I use my YAMAHA MOTIF to read SwarTrax?

If you have YAMAHA Motif, then consider yourself lucky ! :-), as Yamaha Motif is one of the only keyboards that can read Akai CDs directly. This means you will not be required to map individual samples one by one. You can simply use the sampler CD included in SwarTrax and you are all set to play Indian instruments on your keyboard.

All you have to do is :

· Link your keyboard to a CD reader through SCSI cable,

· Create enough space for loading instruments samples, by probably adding more RAM,

· Load Akai patches of Indian instruments from a special ‘Akai formatted’ CD included in SwarTrax,

· Now you are ready to play Indian instruments on your keyboard.

And guess what, you can use around 1000 readymade rhythmic / melodic loops included in SwarTrax .
