SynchronizeYou can now synchronize different patterns together in any combination you like through the Synchronize dialog shown here:
For the dialog to show, you must have at least two bases opened with a pattern selected in each, but you can have more. It will let you select among them the ones which should be synchronized and those you want to leave on their own. For example, you should synchronize any drums, but you should leave the tanpura drone to its own rhythm. For each pattern synchronized, you must tell how many times it should fit in X loops of the leading pattern. The program will then calculate the proper BPM of each component. You can thus create interesting laykari (playing on tempo) like playing a 16 beats pattern three times, while a 12 beats melodic cycle plays four times. All patterns are re-synchronized once the time they should reach the starting point is over, so that a combination can play for hours but still remain together.
